"THE TUG IS THE DRUG"
You folks asked for this, and we listened. These LGC’s specialized two-handed rod guided trips. Brian Clemens will be the lead guide for these trips. Only two-handed rods are used.
If you’re not a great two-handed rod fly-fisher who needs assistance getting your cast and wading skills in shape, these trips are for you. The American, Yuba, Feather, Lower Sac and the Trinity River will be on the menu for these great guided one-day trips. You can pursue wild rainbows, steelhead and shad. “The Tug is the Drug”, hooking fish on the swing is terrific.
Switch, Trout Speys and traditional 14-foot Spey rods all will or can be used. If you don’t have the equipment, Brian does. If you would like to fish your equipment, please bring it with you and Brian will tune it up!
This trip may be done with the aid of Brian’s drift boats or jet boat if needed, not only to carry equipment, food and you, but it will also help us cover more water to show you wadable access points and show you different casting techniques on river left and river right.

Trout - Yuba and Lower Sacramento Rivers all Year
Shad - Yuba & American Rivers May & June
Steelhead - Trinty, Feather & American Rivers October - May
Fly-fishers need to have a valid California Fishing License and Steelhead cards. Guided trips include a nice riverside lunch, and beverages for the day.
Guided trips include rods, reels, flies, tippet, and any other equipment or essentials needed for the day's trip. Please feel free to bring along your favorite rod/reel or flies.
