The Beatis Sparkle Dun represents the Beatis AKA Blue Wing Olive. The BWO hatches all year long. December to February on the Valley Rivers, especially the Lower Sacramento River. The sparkle dun also represents the high mountain lakes Beatis also. You never know what portion of the life cycle the fish will be eating. We fish the dries on long 15-foot leaders to 4X-5X tippet material.
