Milt’s Stillwater Bird’s Nest Black Size 12 - 14

The trick to this fly is that the fly is weighted in the middle of the hook for the fly to turn over hook point up. It looks fishy and the fish love them. They have become a fly that I rely on when I am guiding. I don’t fish these flies deep. Usually in the top three feet of the water column on a long leader. I do strip this rig very slowly to keep a tight line to the fly and indicator.
