This tour focuses on learning how to fish this singular stillwater. Skills learned here can transfer to other stillwaters.
Manzanita Lake is located just inside the northern border of the Lassen Volcanic National Park. The water is home to wild rainbows and brown trout. The fish can be very picky at times. The more you understand this lake, the more fish you will release.
This is a full-day tour. We will show you the lake using our Fishcraft driftboat, highlight the lake's transition zones, and show you how we fish them. We will review equipment, rigging, and all safety factors involved in lake fishing. We will have a lakeshore lunch and then work on new skills while fishing for the rest of the tour.

The one-day tour fee is $225 per guest, limited to 3 anglers per instructor. Transportation and handouts will include maps, access areas, flies, unique setups, recommended equipment, and other special features specific to the fishery. A complete list of all equipment needed is attached to the confirmation package. Guests must possess a valid California fishing license and bring their equipment and personal watercraft wading gear (equipment is available if required).
