Lance's Swimming Black AP Size 10 and 12
Lance’s Swimming Black Ap is just a version of the Master himself Andy Puyan’s fly The Black AP. I just tie this fly with weight, and I make the tail and leg/wings a tad longer so the fly swims. I like stripping this fly either behind my Lance’s Hex CDC Nymph or I fish it by itself on a short 5 – 6-foot leader on an intermediate line. This fly produces everywhere!
