Lance’s Fire Worm Natural Size 14

$1.75

My Fire Worm is simply the pinnacle of San Juan Worms. I have been fishing this fly for over a decade. Simple and constructed tough. I use a red thread and a red wire on both of these worms to add a layer of hemoglobin into the worm. These worms fish very well right after a rainstorm in the valley. These worms are tied with Fulling Mills Model FM5115 hook with a tungsten bead. Jim Audrey would be proud to fish these San Juan worms! You have to have worms in your box, they should be the best.

The natural color works great on the Feather for steelhead especially after a storm. The fish love them just as much as they love the salmon eggs. A must pattern for the Feather River.
