Hartwick's Steelhead Soft Hackle Cream Size 6
Jason Hartwick is a genius fly tyer and fly fisher. He has guided all up and down the West Coast including Alaska. This is a fly that I have found to be productive on the Lower Sacramento during the Fall. I really don’t have a clue why or what it is imitating. The fish love it, so I like it and carry them in my fly box. I fish these on a long 9-12-foot fluorocarbon 3X tapered leader.
