Craven's JuJubee Midge Black Size 18
Charlie Craven developed this Jujubee Midge for the South Platte River where he guided in the early 2000’s. It is a great midge pattern for Putah Creek to Manzanita Lake. I fish this fly underneath an indicator most often in lakes, but I do high stick this fly on Putah.
I like this fly at Manzanita Lake. When my favorite Black WD 40 fly isn’t producing this is the fly I go to. I have actually fished both Craven’s fly and the WD 40 together on the same indicator leader and they both produce. A great fly.
