Craven's JuJubee Midge Red Size 18
Charlie Craven developed this Jujubee Midge for the South Platte River where he guided in the early 2000’s. It is a great midge pattern for Putah Creek to Manzanita Lake. I fish this fly underneath an indicator most often in lakes, but I do high stick this fly on Putah.
Red is one of my favorite colors of midges. I fish this red midge with a silver wire on Putah Creek. It is one of my favorite flies there.
