Alturas Heritage Trout Challenge Tour

The Alturas Heritage Trout Challenge (HCT) Tour is designed for the fly-fisher to be successful on catching and documenting the Goose Lake Redband and the Warner Lakes Redband Trout.

These fish are found in numerous watersheds and creeks throughout the Modoc area. We will travel from Alturas, CA to multiple creeks to explore and fish. LGC will provide you access areas and fly-fishing expertise to assist during the tour so you the fly-fisher will be effective on your Heritage Trout Challenge.

Tour fee is $815 per guest for the two-day tour, limited to 2 anglers. Transportation to and from the meeting spot, a water side lunch, beverages, and snacks during the day will be provide. Handouts for the tour will include maps, access areas, flies, special setups, recommended equipment and other special features that pertain to the fishery. A complete list of all equipment needed is attached to the confirmation package. Guests must possess a valid California fishing license. Guests need to bring their own equipment and wading gear (equipment is available upon request).
