Stillwater Techniques

The “Stillwater Technique” workshop is a master piece that is based at Butt Valley Reservoir.  The workshop is great. We provide pontoon boats and fins for all students. The curriculum includes fundamental modules for still water. The instructors discuss, demostrate, and have the students perform all of the skills for stillwater while on the water. The students will learn how to read stillwater, use the countdown method and how to set up gear. Flies, leaders and of course pontoon safety is covered. A great class great for the intermediate to advance angler.

All equipment is provided including pontoon boats, wading staffs, rods and reels. All class material - leaders, tippet and lies are included. Students need to bring their own wading gear, hats, sunglasses, proper clothing and a willingness to learn. Lunches, beverages and snacks will be provided.

All workshops are taught by one instructor per every two enrolled students...cost is $185 per student for the two day school.

Rods, reels, flies, leaders, and indicators are all inclusive however, wading gear is not.

Riverside lunches, beverages, and snacks are provided

Students may bring there own equipment if they wish. Students must posess a vaild California fishing license.
