Introduction to Switch Rods...

The “Introduction to Switch Rods” workshop is for anglers who want to swing flies for aggressive steelhead. This class is conducted on the Feather River.

All equipment is provided. Instruction will cover setups, lines, flies, drifts and swinging techniques. Casting will be a large portion of this class. Students will learn the snap-tee, single and double Spey, with indicator fishing. We will fish river right and river left.

.All equipment is provided including wading staffs, rods and reels. All class material - leaders, tippet and flies are included. Students need to bring their own wading gear, hats, sunglasses, proper clothing and a willingness to learn. Lunches, beverages and snacks will be provided.

All workshop are taught by one instructor per every two enrolled students...cost is $185 per student for the two day school.

Rods, reels, flies, leaders, and indicators are all inclusive however, wading gear is not.

Riverside lunches (hot or cold), beverages, and snacks are provided

Students may bring there own equipment if they wish. Students must posess a vaild California fishing license and a Steelhead Card.
