Switch & Spey Rod School
Lance Gray & Company Switch & Spey Rod School is conducted on the Feather River. The Switch & Spey Rod School is basically the Steelhead School, but we only fish with Switch and Spey rods.
This two day course the students will work on Steelhead skills using only a two handed rod. The students will learn advance two handed rod techniques such as the dead drift indicators, snap-tee, single and double spey. The students will also learn how to perform control swings.
Locating fish, lies and holds, how to position yourself with the right set up to conduct the proper presentation is key in this school.
The Switch & Spey Rod School will give the students the confidence, skills and knowledge to tackle Steelhead anywhere in Northern California. The two day schools also gives the students curial one on one time with the instructor. The course is designed for the novice to intermediate Steelheader.
