Rock Creek Lake

This property is nestled at 3,200 feet, in the foothills on the western slope of Mt. Lassen National Park. The lake is completely surrounded by a mixed forest of pines, cedars and oaks which gives one a great sense of privacy. Rock Creek itself runs right down the middle of this lake that was constructed in the 30’s for water storage for a lumber mill. The lake is relatively deep, with the deepest portion being the creek bed. This lake has huge weed beds that are a factory for insects. Rock Creek Ranch has a huge population of brown trout and rainbows. Fish in the 30 inch range are not uncommon.

Rock Creek Lake Cabin

Most anglers choose to stay at the comfortable, two bedroom, one bath cottage which will easily accommodate up to four anglers. The cabin has all the necessary equipment provided to the guest. All the guest has to bring is food, a sleeping bag or blankets, pillow and all personal items needed.

Cabin rental is per group; fishing rates are per person

Fishing Rates: $135.00 per person per day for two or more anglers

Cabin Rental: $135.00 per night for any size group (plus $13.50 County Bed Tax)

Single Angler Package: $350.00 per night (includes cabin and fishing)

Occupancy: Up to 4 anglers

Guide Rates:

The guide rate for Rock Creek Lake is $200.00 for the first angler, $100.00 for each additional angler, per day.
