Fly Fishing the Surf Tour

The "Surf Perch Tour" is going to be a blast! Kirsten & I are excited to have Ken Hanley, one of the best guides and instructors for Surf Perch, leading our group. The three-day tour will focus on the Central Monterey Bay region. We will explore Palm Beach, Moss Landing State Beach, and Salinas River State Park. The tour will not only focus on location and available access points, but will also include tips on reading the surf and selecting the correct equipment for the proper presentation. Wading safety and tidal charts will be stressed during this tour as safety is a primary objective. This tour will give the angler the confidence to return and chase these great fish in the surf! Kirsten & I are looking forward to this tour as we love the coastal zones and bringing a fly rod to the beach is the ultimate getaway.

The Surf Tour May 18-20 Open

Tour fee is $595 per guest for the three day tour.

Transportation, a creekside lunch, beverages, and snacks during the day. Handouts for the tour will include maps, access areas, flies, special setups, equipment recommended and other special features that pertain to the fisheries. A complete list of all equipment needed is attached to the confirmation package.

Guests must possess a valid California fishing license and need to bring their own equipment and wading gear (equipment can be rented, if needed).
